Steps.
The plan was to involve young people at the age of 16-20 who are at the critical moment of their lives and youth workers/mentors/educators/teachers – the ones who are near young people. The Project has five main elements.
The first two steps are for the sake of quality preparation for learning mobility projects:
- Partnership building seminar (PBA) took place during 19-24 September 2011 in Lorca, Spain. There were around 30 participants involved. The aims were to support development of their knowledge and understanding of Youth in Action mobility opportunities; to offer learning opportunities to know realities of young people in participating countries; to facilitate getting to know various organisations and their interests; help to develop possible partneships for youth learning mobility projects.
- Training course (TC) took place during 8-15 January 2012 in Daugirdiskes, Lithuania. There were around 30 participants involved who were deepen their understanding of European learning mobility opportunities and quality demands; introducing Youthpass as one of the support measures for learners; offering opportunities for participants to develop future learning mobility projects involving young people from inclusion groups.
- After this preparation seminars during February and August 2011 the Learning Mobility Projects took place in various countries and various settings with educational support from youth workers/ mentors/educators.
- Finally people, who took part in learning mobility process met at the Evaluation Seminar (ES) to capitalise learning outcomes, to review the process and results of UNIQUE Year of Learning.
- All this process is accompanied by the Action Research in order to design research tools enabling organisers of European learning mobility to measure the impact of mobility.
